CCS Primary Campus Halloween Celebration

Last October 29th, 2009, the CCS Primary Campus celebrated Halloween with a special parade and party. It was quite a parade of little monsters as the children wore masks of spooky ghosts, werewolves, cats, vampires, and witches. Each class also decorated special "trick or treat" t-shirts to wear with their masks. After parading, the children entertained the audience with some very scarry Halloween songs. The celebration ended with many delicious treats generously provided by our parents!

Primary Campus Spring News

Congratulations to our Primary Campus students for another successful chick hatch! On April 21st a farmer from Quiver Farms came in to tell us all about hens, roosters, and how chicks are born.  She gave us an incubator filled with 12 eggs and told us how to care for them. After many days of waiting and watching our eggs in the incubator, 10 chicks hatched from their eggs. They were very wet and tired as we transferred them from the incubator to the brooder box. After they regained their energy and their feathers dried, we took turns petting and holding them. The children refilled water and food containers as our chicks grew bigger and stronger each day. Finally, the farmer returned to take them back to their farm family!
