CCS Catholic Schools Week Celebration - January 25 - 31, 2009
CCS celebrated Catholic Schools Week with various activities for the children.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK ACTIVITIES
January 25th - 31st
- Exhibits at the Elementary Campus

- Science Fair Exhibit - Projects from our 7th and 8th Grade students
- Grades 1- 4 - Researching different countries; doing posters/flags that will be on display during the week
- Grade 5 - Project to aid the poor in international countries by serving them food; progress chart on display in the gym.
- Grade 6 - Saint pennant to coincide with their preparation for Confirmation; on display in Social Hall.
Sunday, January 25th
- Pancake Breakfast
- Book Fair

The CCS Pancake Breakfast was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who supported us and who helped make this possible.
We truly appreciate everything that each and everyone of you do for our school.

CCS would like to thank everyone who joined us in our celebration of Lights! Camera! Book Fair!
Your support will help us improve our library and expand our classroom libraries.

- Primary Campus - Teddy Bear and Pajama Day -

- Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Wednesday, January 28th
- Primary Campus - Pizza Lunch and Magic Show - Children enjoyed a pizza lunch entertained with "The Magic of Snowmen" performance by magician Tom McDonnell.

- Mr. Taggart's Kung Fu Demonstration in Gym

- Home and School General Meeting/Parent Appreciation Night - Rescheduled for March 3rd at 7pm .
Thursday, January 29th
- Catholic Schools Week Mass at 9:00 am - St Matthew Church
- Primary Campus - Grandparents/Special Person Day - Grandparents or another loved visited our classrooms for special activities, crafts and cookies/hot chocolate snack.
- International Cook - off
