CCS Fire Prevention Week 2010

CCS participated in the Fire Prevention Week 2010. This year's campaign is designed to educate people about the importance of smoke alarms and encourages everyone to take the steps necessary to update and maintain their home smoke alarm protection. Washington Fire Company of Conshohocken, Conshohocken Fire Company, and Barren Hill Fire Company visited our school and helped in the demonstrations on fire safety. Barren Hill Fire Company offered fire safety instruction in their "Fire Safety School" smokehouse trailer.  In the smokehouse trailer,  CCS children learned how to get out of a fire through the use of completely harmless simulated smoke. Everyone had a blast learning about fire safety.
