CCS Kids Helping Kids - CCS Catholic Schools Week 2012

 

The Primary Campus and the 1st and 2nd grade Children did a Service Project during Catholic Schools' Week. 

The Primary Campus Children was asked to send in a winter item (hats, gloves, scarves, mittens) in children’s sizes for the Cradles to Crayons organization. These were presented in our Sharing is Caring prayer service. The children went to SS. Cosmas and Damian Church for a prayer service on “sharing”. As part of the prayer service  children brought their donated hats, gloves, mittens etc. to the altar as an Offering for children in need (Cradles to Crayons).

The 1st and 2nd grades collected various items for the Covenant House.  Please see the donation list below.

1st- Diapers and wipes

2nd-Diapers and wipes

3rd-Bar soap

4th-Deodorant and lotion

5th-Toothpaste and toothbrushes

6th-Shampoo and conditioner

7th-New white socks (any size)

8th-New white under shirts (any size)
