CCS Ducky Party

Conshohocken Catholic Schools annual Ducky Regatta that usually takes place on the Schuylkill River at the Five Tower Bridge building in West Conshohocken had to be relocated this year to the schools Primary Campus on 5th Ave in Conshohocken due to the rivers strong current and muddy banks.  The event was held on Saturday, May 9th.  Although the 1400 ducks were unable to flow down the river, the children and their families still had a great day.  There was face painting, music and treats for the children.  Instead of the first duck to cross the finish line a raffle was held to pick the winners. Dry ground did not deter the local fire company, who each year have the pleasure of placing the ducks into the river. The fire company joined the fun in the schools parking lot.  Splash the mascot from the Philadelphia “Ride the Ducks” tour was also present as the special guest.

Regardless of where the fundraiser took place CCS had a magnificent turnout and raised lots of money for the school.
