HEALTH AND WELLNESS – DEVELOPING THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT
Conshohocken Catholic School recognizes that student wellness, proper nutrition, and regular physical activity are related to a student’s physical well-being, growth, development, and readiness to learn. Students attend a weekly class where lifestyle balance is reinforced by linking healthy food choices and physical activities. CCS has a full-time, dedicated Gym Teacher, Mrs. Mary Anne Gilman who provides organize games and challenges that promote physical activity among children from kindergarten to eight grade. Her goal is to develop motor skills and physical development among younger children and proper exercise and eating habits among older children.
