Dear Parents,
We are aware that you are patiently awaiting the response to our appeal. We received a memo from Bishop Fitzgerald and the Blue Ribbon Commission today informing us that all appeal decisions will be communicated on Friday, February 17, at 10:30 a.m. on the www.faithinthefuture.com website.
There will not be a news conference. Parents are asked to please check the above named website for further information. We will also communicate any and all information to parents through e-mail and our CCS website. Be assured that as soon as we know something we will let you know.

Sincerely,
Miss Patricia J. Kaeser Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Once again, I acknowledge that change is difficult and regardless of the reasons, very painful. Hopefully, our meeting last evening presented an opportunity for you to speak, ponder, listen, and try to understand the reasoning that accompanies the latest changes that have been given to us.
The representatives of Conshohocken Catholic School, Father Genuardi, Father Heron, and I will go before the Appeal Board on Tuesday, January 24 at 1:00. We will present our appeal and, hopefully, incorporate all of our ideas as to why we would like to survive.

The outline of the Appeal is as follows:
-We want Conshohocken Catholic to stay open.

-We feel strongly that families affected should be given options and flexibility around
school choices for their children.

-We want the Primary School to continue in operation in the town of Conshohocken.

The time line for this Appeal is one hour. Taking all of your ideas, we would hope to be able to express, to the best of our ability, the many concerns all of us have. Our emphasis will be placed on the importance of our children receiving a high quality, affordable Catholic education.
It is vital that Catholic Education be stabilized and survive. Obviously, all of these changes have become a threat to such a thing happening. We ask that you trust that we will continue to speak for our children and all they deserve. Please pray with us on this important day and time.    Thank you for your attendance, support, and prayers in this very difficult time.

Sincerely,
Miss Patricia J. Kaeser Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is to let you know that tomorrow, January 10, 2012 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm a meeting is being held as an information session.  All pastors and principals who have been affected by the school closings must attend.
After this meeting the pastors and I will have a Home & School General Meeting to address your questions and concerns.  A date and time will follow.
In the meantime, I thank you for your patience and prayers as we work through this very difficult time.
The teachers and I are most grateful for your many messages of support and encouragement.  I will continue to keep you informed as more information becomes available.
God bless you.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

There are no words to adequately express my feelings at this time. I'm sure you have already received the news about our closure. I am very sorry and greatly disappointed. CCS will merge with Mother of Divine Providence in King of Prussia. The "regional" school will be renamed.

In the very near future, pastors and principals will be having meetings to formulate what the new "regional" school will look like,  i.e. tuition, job opportunities, curriculum, programs, etc.  I will keep you informed to the best of my ability. I respect what you as parents must be feeling at this time. I am deeply sorry. I hoped and prayed that the outcome of the Blue Ribbon Commission would not mean that CCS would close.
In the coming weeks we will have a Home and School meeting. You will be asked to attend. Your input is important to us. We would hope to have answers to your questions at that time. It will take a few weeks to glean the necessary information that is important to you as parents.

Your children will receive our ultimate attention. My intent is to continue this year as normally as possible. The teachers and I agree that your children are our most precious gift. We will treat them accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. Please know that I am available if you need me. As soon as I have information I will pass it on to you. I promise a continued remembrance for you and your children in my prayers. Please remember us as well.

God bless each of you and know that I want to support you in any way I can.

Sincerely,

Patricia J. Kaeser
Principal

Welcome Letter School Year 2011-2012

September, 2011

Dear Parents,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to a new school year at
Conshohocken Catholic School.

Some exciting changes have been made over the summer months. The brick pavers, purchased and donated by you, have been engraved and reinstalled in the front walkway of the Primary Campus.

The Elementary Campus has been spruced up with a thorough cleaning,
newly painted walls on the first floor corridor and new carpeting on
the first floor.

A dimension added to all Archdiocesan schools this year is a new learning program, referred to as the Common Core State Standards Initiative. This program is being implemented in the areas of English lan uage arts and Mathematics. The most significant thing about this curriculum change is that in the past numerous topics have been taught and now “priority topics” will be taught in depth. For more information you can go on the web site www.catholicschools-phl.org under Parent resources.

It is a pleasure to announce we have added three new faculty members to our Elementary Campus staff. We welcome Ms. Kelly Carroll to our first grade, Ms. Courtney Coccia to our third grade, and Mrs. Judith Kluth to our fifth grade. We wish them well and pray for a successful year here at CCS. Along with these newcomers, we welcome Mrs. Christine Reilly to our Primary campus as a teacher assistant. We give Christine our good wishes also.

I am thrilled to be beginning my sixth year at CCS as principal. I hope you will join me at our first HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING —BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT--on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 6:30 pm. At that time you will have the opportunity to meet the teachers involved in your child s education.
This will also give you an opportunity to hear about some of the exciting things that will be happening here at CCS this year. Please mark your calendar.

Additional information will be coming home with your child. Also, please continue to check our website — www.conshohockencatholic.org for the latest information happening at CCS.

As always, we are looking for parent volunteers to help us. The information regarding volunteers is on our Web page.

I personally thank you for entrusting us with the education and faith formation of your child/children. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you this year.
Thank you and God’s blessings to you and your children.
