May Procession 2010
The faith community of Conshohocken Catholic School gathered together in prayer and faith to honor Mary, Our Mother of Divine Hope, for it's traditional May Procession last Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 7pm in St. Matthew Church.
The Third graders came dressed in their communion outfits, the Eight graders wore their graduation gowns, the Seventh graders were partnered with the Kindergarten children dressed in their Sunday best as they walked together with the rest of the CCS student body in the procession.
The Seventh Grade Students and the Kindergarten children laid flowers at the feet of the large Mary statue in the church. Two second graders, Alexander Kenny and Suzella Aloia, presented a wreath of flowers to two eighth graders, James Stanish and Jessica Palummo. James and Jessica placed the wreath upon Mary’s head. The entire school sang songs and recited prayers honoring the Blessed Mother.
The May Procession is always a memorable part of the school year.
