Partners In Progress

The Partners in Progress Committee’s mission is to activate the human, organizational and financial resources within our parishes and the community at large necessary to achieve the vision of preserving and enhancing quality Catholic education in Conshohocken for future generations while maintaining a strong Catholic identity within the community.

Partners in Progress is organized into three subcommittee. Each subcommittee is responsible for a particular aspect of school improvement and each subcommittee has enabled significant enhancements to CCS during 2005-2008. The Partners in Progress subcommittees are as follows:

Marketing Subcommittee

The Marketing Subcommittee is responsible for promoting and marketing our school.  

The Three areas that fall under marketing are:

  1. Recruitment
  2. Retention
  3. Fundraising

Accomplishments for the 2007-2008 School Year include:

  • Development of an informative packet for families interested in CCS
  • Implementation of an Open House Program for prospective new families
  • Organization of an Auction that raised $63,000 for the students of CCS.
  • Participation in the development of a new website.
  • Creation of an “End of School Survey”.
  • Creation of a new Spirit Wear Line. 

Capital Improvement Subcommittee:

The Capital improvement subcommittee is responsible for identifying and prioritizing improvements to the CCS facilities. Since it's inception, this subcommittee has instituted the following change:

  • Bathrooms upgraded
  • 1st floor boys’ bathroom fully renovated
  • Replacement of schoolyard steps/doors
  • Repaving of playground
  • Addition of permanent basketball poles
  • Updated lighting throughout school
  • Expansion of CARES Program
  • Added Resource Room and staff
  • Honors Math program
  • Fully upgraded computer lab
  • Refurbished all classroom computers

Grant Writing Subcommittee:

The Grant writing subcommittee is responsible for identifying potential grants that will further support and improve the CCS community, as well as drafting and submitting the grants. During the 2007-2008 school year this subcommittee obtained the following grants:

  • Art/Music/Science grants
