 EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS
 
On days of inclement weather, tune your radio to KYW 1060 AM radio to hear the snow code listings.  Please do not call the rectories or convent. The school answering machine at both campuses will indicate the status as soon as the principal is notified.
 
If number, 406, is called as “CLOSED”, both St. Matthew Elementary
Campus and SS. Cosmas and Damian Primary Campus will be closed and there will be no C.A.R.E.S. Program.

DELAYED OPENING
 
Due to the variety of schedules for St. Matthew Campus and SS. Cosmas and Damian Campus, the following is a list of what will occur in the event of a delayed opening due to inclement weather:

406 - One Hour Delay
- No Morning C.A.R.E.S. Program
- Elementary Campus:  Arrival Bell  9:10 a.m.
- Primary Campus:  All classes arrival bell 9:10 a.m. (to coincide with     Elementary Campus) Students can report directly to their class.
***Dismissal times are unchanged.
 
406 - Two Hour Delay 
- No Morning C.A.R.E.S. Program
- Elementary Campus:  Arrival Bell 10:10 a.m.
- Primary Campus:  No school for Half Day Programs, Full Day PreK4 & Kindergarten arrival bell 10:10 a.m. (to coincide with Elementary Campus)

EMERGENCY EARLY DISMISSAL
 
• Listen to KYW or WPVI TV-Channel 6
• Conshohocken Catholic School must follow the early closing decisions of the Colonial School District.  Students being bused by other public school districts should listen for the school closing numbers of those districts as well.

If early dismissal is called for, you will receive a phone call through the
school’s Emergency Phone Chain System.
 
NO CHILD WILL BE DISMISSED WITHOUT PERSONAL CONTACT WITH A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
 
AFTER SCHOOL:  C.A.R.E.S. PROGRAM FOR EARLY DISMISSAL
 
If early dismissal is announced over KYW or WPVI TV-Channel 6
 
• C.A.R.E.S. children will be cared for at the campus in which they
attend school until the parent arrives to take their children home.  
Please arrive as soon as possible. 
(Considering the variety of potential emergency closings, we do not want children transported from the Elementary to the Primary Campus).
 
C.A.R.E.S. SERVICE IS CANCELLED
 
In the event that weather conditions become very poor after regular
dismissal at 3:00 p.m., you may receive a call at work asking you to pick up your child as early as possible.  We recognize how stressful this can be for you and appreciate your doing what you can in those circumstances.
