Scrip Program
Help yourself. Help your school.
It's easy, it's convenient and it costs you NOTHING!
What is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money." When you purchase the gift cards sold through the CCS Scrip program, you are purchasing negotiable gift cards that are used just like cash. The retailers we purchase from want to support non-profit organizations and offer us a discount on the cards. We pass part of that savings on to you in the form of Scrip vouchers. You save money on tuition by making purchases you would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, and gifts can be purchased with Scrip.
Are the gift certificates difficult to use at the store?
Absolutely not! They are used just like cash; there is no delay at the checkout counter. Kohl's gift cards are even valid for paying your bill. They make excellent gift ideas.
How does the tuition credit work?
Every time you purchase gift certificates, you will instantly receive tuition vouchers. The vouchers are worth $1.00 and are awarded for every $25 in purchases (4% of sale). So, if you purchase $200 in gift certificates, you will receive eight tuition vouchers, each worth $1.00. Tuition vouchers are used to pay your tuition! For example, if you are making a payment of $165, and you include $20 in vouchers, you write a check for $145. You just saved $20They are also transferable! This allows friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to purchase gift certificates and give the tuition vouchers to families with school children. ! The vouchers add up quickly. So start buying today!
